i have this problem with buying or inheriting cheaply made umbrellas, an umbrella is one of the many practical grown up things that i can't justify spending money on, kind of like kitchen utensils. two days ago one turned inside out on me, besides the obvious annoyance/embarrassment/wetness. instead of the usual shake to put it back in it's place, and because of my flailing the button got stuck so it wouldn't close or turn outside in. i had no choice but to give it to a homeless person, but what kind of insult is that. i spent the following 5 minutes trying to stuff it into a small garbage can. after noticing the people on Granville St have probably been watching me fuss with this shit for close to 15 minutes, i left it next to the garbage can and i calmly walked away.
you're witnessing the mess that happens when i have no hood or umbrella, um even though i actually think my hair looks quite good, face not so much

Super cute hair. Is it naturally this wavy or do you have a secret?
love ur hair!
Umbrellas... urrrgghh, hate em! I seem to go through about 10 a year, cheap ones I might add. I can't justify spending more than a few pounds on something that doesn't promise to keep me 100% dry. The jacket/cardie your wearing looks super cute, I wish you had a close up.
